Etrade, Ameritrade, Scottrade? Whats best

I have an Etrade account and a Scottrade account. I liked the Scottrade because the commisions were low and the speed of fills were pretty good. But I went to the new no commission brokerage Zecco.com for trading penny stocks, although you could trade any stock you want as far as I know.

The only fees on the Zecco trades are the mandatory SEC fees that amount to very little. You can’t escape from those fees.

Over all I found the Zecco brokerage pretty good and have no complaints. It does take $2500.00 minimum to open the account though.

    Scottrade Service is Crappy

They have 40 private companies feeding them news, but these companies sometimes spew out false information. For example they published a report saying that the FDA rejected a drug in a company I was invested in. The stock fell $2 that day! But the FDA did not reject the drug. I contacted them, and so did dozens of other people, but they REFUSED to take down the headline.

Bottom line is they allow themselves to be used by Hedge Funds and biased analysts to scare investors and make fast money to spread false info. If they do not have control over what is shown on their website then how can you trust them?
